All About Me

My name is Alayna Pody, and I am the 7th grade Social Studies teacher at Zora Ellis! I am from Alpine and a 2018 graduate of Winterboro High School. I graduated from Troy University in May 2023 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education 6-12, and I am so excited to begin my first year of teaching! 

My hobbies include cooking/ baking, reading, graphic design, and traveling. My favorite travel destinations are United States National Parks, and historical sites. I am constantly pursuing new experiences and adventures, and expanding my knowledge. 

I am blessed to serve the scholars at Zora Ellis and assist them as they grow towards their full potential. I’m looking forward to an awesome school year! Go Tigers!
