Principal's Corner

Welcome to Ellis!

It is my pleasure and honor to serve as the new principal of Zora Ellis Jr. High School.  Over the past two years, I have served as the Assistant Principal, and I am extremely excited to start my new journey!  My primary goal for the upcoming school year is to provide all scholars with a positive learning environment that will prepare them for the future and provide our scholars with the support he or she needs to be successful. 
I look forward to working with you to provide the best education possible for our scholars. Parents, I encourage you to become actively involved in your child's education—join the newly established PTA!  The more parents are positively involved and actively seen by their children at school, the more they will come to value their education. 
I am here to make every effort to help your child reach his/her fullest potential.  I vow to give my all to our scholars, and I will request the same efforts from our staff and school community.  Together we will continue to move Zora Ellis Jr. High School scholars through a rich learning environment guided with love and support toward a bright future. I am extremely proud and excited to continue to do great work in Talladega City Schools.
